Art & Crafts at the Community Centre
The community centre will host some of the best craftworkers and artists Anglesey and beyond have to offer, with both the Gwynedd & Clywdd Association of Craftworkers and the Anglesey Arts Forum exhibiting. Expect a maritime theme amongst much of the work to celebrate the beautiful shores of Anglesey.
Pop-Up Gallery on Water St
Outside the community centre, a pop-up gallery will house a further collection of creative individuals. Catch local artists and craft workers making their wares, as well as selling them.
Creative Workshops for Kids
The nail bar on Water St will become a creative space for kids of all ages for the festival. Fishy bunting, silk painting, card-making…come and get crafty. Booking slots will be available nearer the time. Also drop in here to be transformed into something fabulously fishy by a professional face-painter.
Seaside Sculptures
Giant mermaids, octopus and lobsters will hang from the most unlikely places on the high street, as the line between sea and side blurs. Several schools on the island, including Y Borth, David Hughes and Llandegfan, have made these fabulous sculptures. See how many you spot along the festival site, and also enjoy the hand-made bunting adorning our town.
An Array of Pub Exhibits
Several pubs in the town will host exhibitions of various local artists. Look out for art at The Auckland, Dylan’s Restaurant and Shop Cwtch, with more to be confirmed.
Window Competition
Every shop in Menai Bridge has been invited to take part in a maritime window competition. Wander down Water St and soak up the atmosphere.
