Get Cooking with Live Demonstrations at Menai Seafood Festival 2015

It goes without saying that throughout Menai Seafood Festival 2015, visitors will realise how blessed we are to be able to source such high quality local fish and seafood on our shores. However, we would like each and every visitor to be able to take this feeling home with them to share with friends and loved ones. This is why we will be delivering live cooking demonstrations throughout the day from some award winning chefs and seafood experts to inspire our region to get cooking whilst making the most of high quality local produce.

The Anglesey and Gwynedd Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) along with some premium sponsors of the event have supported us in putting together an unmissable line-up, from some industry professionals, which is sure to encourage members of the public to try the recipes at home.

One highlight courtesy of premium sponsor Chateau Rihanfa, will be their Head Chef, Andrew Sheridan tantalising our taste buds with his Asian inspired Yuzu Tuna recipe. Andrew is well known for catching fresh shellfish in the Menai Strait to serve to Chateau Rihanfa’s many satisfied guests. His work as Head Chef at the spectacular Chateau Rihanfa has helped them to bag a place in the Michelin Guide.
